Abstract:	SHD/81 Cleaning Services (Voids) Sandwell Homes Ltd is an Arm’s Length Management Organisation (ALMO) and is responsible for managing on behalf of Sandwell MBC in excess of 30k Council owned properties located throughout the Metropolitan Borough of Sandwell in the West Midlands. Sandwell Homes Ltd is looking to enter into a Contract with a suitable and competent Service Provider to supply ‘Cleaning Services’ for Void (vacant) properties. The successful Service Provider will be required to carry out domestic cleaning for a number of these properties within the Sandwell area. The Cleaning Services will be required to be undertaken after the Contractors (Plumbers, carpenters etc) have completed their work in that property. The purpose will be to ensure that the property is cleaned to a high standard in readiness for accommodating new tenants. The Service provider will be required to carry out the Cleaning Services to an agreed schedule (following an agreed cleaning process) in an efficient and professional manner whilst ensuring value for money

SHD/81 Cleaning Services (Voids)

2.4 Total quantity or scope of tender

The requirement will cover cleaning around 350 to 600 properties per year. This figure cannot be guaranteed and should be used for guidance purposes only.

3 Conditions for Participation

3.1 Minimum standards and qualification required

Service Provider is to provide adequate cover in terms of insurance

(Product / Public 5m GBP and Employer’s 10m GBP)

Must be VAT registered and a limited company / PLC

Management Information Reporting

This will be required as part of the Service Provision as this provides vital feedback in order to ensure a high level of quality in terms of Service Provider performance for the entire duration of the Contract. Quarterly reviews will be required and regular liaison with the Contract Manager as and when required.
